A brand-new Nations Cup-specification Holden Monaro CV8 is one of the first entrants to be confirmed in the Holden Bathurst Revival, to be held as part of the Bathurst International in November.
In news that has broken today via the V8 Sleuth, Garry Rogers Motorsport has confirmed it will build a Monaro identical to its Bathurst 24 Hour-winning examples from 2002 and 2003.
The team will use a spare body shell that has laid idle for 15 years, and due to the recent COVID-19 situation, the team will use its resources to build the car ahead of the November 13-15 event.
“We’ve had people sitting around here picking their nose with nothing to do lately so we’ve been tidying up all of the stuff we have sitting around and we’ve dug through our old containers,” Rogers told v8sleuth.com.au
